ABOUT PSNHNR

Watch tour

The Philippine Society of Neuroradiology and Head and Neck Radiology (PSNHNR) was founded in Ortigas, Pasig City on May 15, 2017 by a group of radiologists with major practice in neuroradiology from different hospital institutions in the Philippines, headed by Dr. Irma David-Kintanar of Metro Manila. The society was formed in swift response to the appeal of the Philippine College of Radiology (PCR), under the leadership of Dr. Jerome Gaerlan, to form organ system-based subspecialty organizations in radiology, in addition to the existing modality-based societies, to keep abreast of the current global practice in radiology.

The PSNHNR was founded to stimulate interest and advance knowledge in the field of Neuroradiology in the Philippines, to promote continuing development of the practice of Neuroradiology through the exchange of scientific and technical information among the neuroradiologists, to improve the methods of teaching and learning of the residents and fellows through the formulation of a dynamic neuroradiology curriculum, and to encourage research and collaboration in the field of Neuroradiology.
